While the advices we give out are mostly from experience, humans should encourage each other to experience certain things for themselves. Above all, it gives one a sense of familiarity with the world. Now you have one less unexplored land. And that’s remarkable because you know you can maneuver if you are to put under the same sort of circumstances again, which was not the case before. By giving yourself space and permission to fail, you indirectly give yourself the opportunity to rise.

That is exactly why those who have been given the chance by their caregivers to have a non-toxic relationship with defeat early on generally lead a wholesome life. In the end, who in the world would claim that having some explored land in your supply is a disadvantage?
