Whether somebody said it better is not a debate, of course they did. There have been and there are plenty of great thinkers who’s done the job of putting things into words so well. You can quote them, use when they’re relevant and make your case stronger.

However, there is a misapprehension one might fall into. Learning about others’ views is cool and all, but if the imitation goes on for too long, the education is incomplete, and it might start working against you. There has to be an element of personality, sooner or later. Because when it’s all said and done, your putting it all together determines whether you reach excellence or not.
