What’s remarkable about sacrifices is that they’re very personal. They belong to you. It is extremely difficult and rare for someone to grasp the meaning they convey to you. But in the cases where there are people who do feel for you, they’re probably like-minded people, people those who care about progress.

Mostly, it won’t do the job of making them understand. If you’ve made it in life, it will be labelled “ At least it was worth it”, if you haven’t, they won’t believe you. Truthfully, there is nothing to show, in a way. So that does not make sense. Besides, “showing people” is in most cases unhealthy. And maybe it shouldn’t be talked about in the first place.
