The reason why you should question what you believe and what you think you know is because there is no reason to think that we actually know and are rational. Just a couple years ago our grandparents were either slaves or tyrants. Just because we grow out of it does not mean we are free of making serious mistakes. Our minds are not designed to be rational, its designed to function effectively in our daily lives. So, we are all biased about something. And while we are here living, what we need to do is to play a game called “let’s find out what I’m wrong about”. You don’t have anything better to do other than that. Don’t play the game and you are not only sitting on the sidelines while your life is passing you by, you are also harming yourself, as well as other people.
