Skill and emotion

Skill and emotion are the main factors contributing to the quality of work.

You feel it if/when something’s been born out of strong emotions.

But there’s also the skill aspect. You cannot communicate what you have to say if you’re not skilled.

If you’re skilled but show zero emotion, you’re not creating anything with desire, you’re just finishing an assignment.

One of the reasons we humans have been able to come as far as we have come is that you can’t cheat yourself into being a good creator.
