Second-guessing

When we seek relief from something and paint that as “wanting success,” it just messes the whole thing up. It makes it harder for you to grow. But that’s one of the things you learn the hard way.

Something does not work for some time. And you start wondering if there’s some shortcut, some easy way, which you kind of should. However, things go south when you take too much time second-guessing.

Especially when accumulating knowledge we make that sort of mistake. We kind of force ideas into our minds, we try to memorize, and that is not learning. The point of learning is to replace obsolete and superfluous with the genuine.
