Notice there are people who say a lot of things without saying anything. You’ll also see stuff like reviews and critics online going on and on about something, but when you actually stop and think about it, they didn’t provide you with any kind of information. It’s almost as if the author writes them with the intention of confirming thoughts of the people who are already more or less convinced.

It hurts those who are emotionally reacting to that particular thing. When we’re highly emotional about something, we are likely to act in ways we might later regret. We can’t leave emotions out entirely, but we need to bring our logic to the front as much as we can.

That means our brains need to be trained. We need to get educated, in other words, which is subjective and does not happen overnight. It needs to be gradually attained, through many things, experiences and books being the primary ones.
