Negotiable realities

Even the phenomenon that you need to accept reality has a downside, or, a flipside, let’s say.

It really depends on what you mean by reality. In certain societies, just making your own decisions may be seen as invading someone’s territory. In that sense, reality is negotiable. That’s the biggest lie for some people. Others don’t get to dictate what you’re doing.

If we’re implying certain rules of nature, especially human nature, then, damn right, it hurts to not accept them. But even getting to the point where we are now required trying to bend reality to our beliefs. And this is why innovation is a good value, for individuals and groups.
