Make the trip

So, you get this address from someone. It’s a bit vague. Yet it seems clear enough. I’ll know it once I see it, you tell yourself and you set out.

It turns out to be a very different setting, way different than you’ve imagined. You walk longer, the building is somehow different, and there’s nobody in sight to ask directions from.

But the next time you know how to take measures. You leave your place earlier and take stuff with you, just in case.

This is not unfortunate. It’s just normal. If you never made the trip and got someone else to pick things up for you, you would still have those false images in your head about that particular place.
