During the times where we are judgemental towards ourselves, series of stupidities of the decisions we’ve made, stuff we chose to pursue and advice we thought were valuable appear in our heads. And no wonder. Human brains come up with negative stuff even when the times are tranquil.

The main reason we do that is because we are more susceptible to negative emotions. They stand out. And we don’t have a way of knowing whether we appeared as laid-back, problem-solver or badass, So, not only do we remember the bad ones, we do not have access to some of the positive feedback.
